The wheels start turning slowly, then rapidly, trying to keep in rhythm with the pedaling of my feet. Sunlight seeping through the treetops guide my way as I breeze through down the winding road. I feel the wind washing away all the thoughts that clouded my head for some time now. Those overcast days have ended, the feelings and thoughts that I’ve harbored have gone. I’d like to think that they’ve vanished into the thin air, into the wind that brushed past my skin.
And this time, I won’t be looking back.
